Purple Sky Vol. 1: Talking to the Moon

I’m a sucker for any and all poetry. This book has been sitting in my Kindle library for a while now, but I’ve finally gotten around to reading it and I’m glad I did. Talking to the Moon by Marie K. Ricci is the first volume in their Purple Sky series. To be honest, it had just the vibe I was looking for with its extremely relatable content.

Life Interrupted

I had the pleasure of reading a powerful book of poems dedicated to the battle of a virtually invisible disease known as endometriosis. This book is called Life Interrupted by D. L. Heather.

Coffee, Alcohol, and Heartbreak

I love reading poetry books. They’re quick reads that pack such an emotional punch. Much of the poetry that I’ve been introduced to comes from indie authors wanting to share their experiences with the world and they’re generally relatable.
