Book News for a New Year

Dear followers of my blog:

You’ve probably noticed that over the past month and a half, posts have been really slow. Fear not! I’m coming back this year with more content on publishing tips, writing advice, book reviews, and more of my rambling thoughts. With my wedding coming up in the next few weeks and my recent positive covid test, you can assume that things have been more than a little hectic.

A Witch’s Herbology Journal

But, with all that being said, this is an update post for my plans for writing and entertaining in 2022. The first project on the list is the second witchcraft journal in my witchcraft journal series – this one is about crystals! I hope to have it fully available by March 2022. So, make sure you have a little space left on your bookshelves or on your altar. The book will appear in paperback and as a hardcover just like A Witch’s Herbology Journal. I’m a little partial to the hardcover myself, but more details to come as I get closer to the release date.

Brimstone Book Cover

Other books that I have planned for this year include, the first book in my Brimstone Trilogy of the same title. If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (at least the first 2 seasons), Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling, or The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, then I think you’ll get a kick out of this book. I like to classify it as a new adult, coming-of-age, dark urban fantasy. Check out the blurb for yourself!

Another book on my to-do list is the sequel to Witch Trials which I hope to release by the end of the year (2022). The book itself is almost complete but I still have extensive editing to do. My goal is to bring as much consistency to the plot as I tried to do with the first book. I pride myself on all the twists and turns, but the execution is key! So, while this book may not come to fruition until the beginning of 2023, just know that I will be working diligently on it for the rest of this year.

I also have a few side projects I’m working on, but you’ll hear more about those as I get closer to publishing those stories. Let’s just say, that you may see me pop up in an anthology later in the Spring!

And, if you’d rather listen to my blog and all my exciting news in the future, I have something for you guys too. New podcast episodes will be coming this month on my Author Podcast Show, so stay tuned! I’m especially excited for a special episode coming this February with my friend and fellow author, Kim Appelgryn. She’ll be giving us the tea on her experience with a shady vanity publisher and we’ll be discussing what to watch out for and how to avoid the scammers. You won’t want to miss this.

Kim and I are currently working on relaunching her debut novel The Silent Witness. This will be the second edition of her book and we’ll have a release date for it soon! Of course, my followers will be the first to know when it’s back on the shelf where it belongs.

2022 is shaping up to be a busy year for me as you can see. Let the creativity flow!
